Caramelized Pear Bruschetta

Ingredients
- 1 whole-grain baguette, sliced into rounds
- 2 tbsp Della Terra Butter Olive Oil
- 2 ripe pears, chopped
- Pinch of salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg
- 2 tbsp Della Terra Honey Ginger Balsamic
- ½ cup mascarpone
- 1 tbsp chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp local unpasteurized honey
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 5–7 minutes, until golden and toasted. Set aside.
- Heat Butter Olive Oil in a skillet over medium-low heat.
- Add pears, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook slowly for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pears are soft and caramelized.
- Stir in Honey Ginger Balsamic and cook for 1–2 minutes to lightly reduce.
- Spread toasted baguette slices with mascarpone.
- Top with caramelized pears, chopped walnuts, and a drizzle of honey. Serve warm or at room temperature.
