Balsamic-Candied Nuts

Whether for tapas or part of a snack spread, these candied nuts can be summed up in two words: amazingly addictive.

  • 1 cup mixed nuts, toasted
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • Fine sea or Himalayan salt
  • Ingredients from Twist

TWIST #1 Sweet Heat

  • 1 tbsp Della Terra Dark Chocolate Balsamic
  • 1 tbsp Della Terra Chipotle Olive Oil

TWIST #2 Honey-Citrus Spice

  • 1 tbsp Della Terra Blood Orange Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Della Terra Honey Ginger White Balsamic

TWIST #3 Curried Red Apple

  • 1 tbsp Della Terra Picual Premium Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp plus 2 tsps Della Terra Red Apple Dark Balsamic
  • 2 tsps Metropolitan Chef Curry Rub

Lay a piece of parchment paper out on a flat surface. Put the brown sugar, salt, and Twist ingredients in a medium saucepan. Heat until bubbling over medium heat. Stir in the nuts and cook, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes.

Spread the mixture on the parchment paper.

Let cool completely before eating or storing.

Makes 1 cup
