Wheat-Free Dog Biscuits
Simple, wholesome, and made with pantry ingredients you probably already have on hand. These homemade dog treats combine cheddar, vegetables, and Robust Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil into a crunchy little bite your pup will happily sit for. Perfect for wheat sensitivities and easy to customize with peas or carrots.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 3 tbsp Della Terra Robust Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 3 tbsp applesauce
- 1/2 cup chopped vegetables (carrots or peas)
- 1 cup brown rice flour (or oat flour)
- Milk, as needed to bring dough together
Instructions
- Combine cheddar cheese, olive oil, applesauce, vegetables, and flour in a bowl.
- Add a splash of milk as needed and mix until a sticky dough forms.
- Cover and chill for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll dough into bite-sized balls or roll flat and cut into shapes.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
