Peanut Butter Dog Biscuits

Paired with peanut butter, oats, and honey, these simple treats are easy to make and guaranteed to disappear quickly.

Ingredients
Homemade Peanut Butter
- 2 cups roasted, unsalted peanuts
- 1 tbsp sugar (optional)
- 1/2 tsp salt (optional)
- 1/4 cup Della Terra Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Mild or Medium)
Dog Biscuits
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (recipe below)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tbsp Della Terra Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions
Homemade Peanut Butter
- Add peanuts, sugar, and salt to a blender or food processor.
- Pour in Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
- Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed (about 2 minutes).
- Store refrigerated in a sealed container for up to 2 weeks.
Dog Biscuits
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together peanut butter, honey, olive oil, and chicken broth.
- In a separate bowl, combine oats, whole wheat flour, and all-purpose flour.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix into a dough.
- Roll dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4-inch thick.
- Cut into shapes using a dog bone cutter or make simple rounds.
- Place on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 14–16 minutes.
- Cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
