These Harvest Morning-After Pancakes are made for that kind of morning: unhurried, golden, and full of comfort.
Fluffy, warm, and kissed with our Della Terra Bourbon Maple Dark Balsamic, they’re the perfect way to ease back into routine or to linger just a little longer in the glow of Thanksgiving.
Ingredients:
For the pancakes:

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tbsp sugar

2 tsp baking powder

½ tsp baking soda

¼ tsp salt

1 ¼ cups buttermilk

2 large eggs
-
1 tsp pure vanilla extract

⅓ cup toasted walnuts, chopped (+ more for topping)
For the carmelized fruit:

1 large apple or pear, thinly sliced

1 tbsp brown sugar
Directions:

Caramelize the fruit: Heat Butter Infused Olive Oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced apple or pear and sprinkle with brown sugar. Cook 5–8 minutes, until soft and golden. Add Bourbon Maple Dark Balsamic and cook 1 minute more until glossy. Remove from heat and set aside.

Whisk dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Mix wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, eggs, Butter Infused Olive Oil, Bourbon Maple Dark Balsamic, and vanilla until smooth.

Combine: Add wet ingredients to dry and stir gently until just combined — a few lumps are perfectly fine.

Cook: Heat a lightly oiled griddle or non-stick pan over medium heat. Pour about ¼ cup of batter for each pancake. Cook 2–3 minutes, until bubbles form and edges begin to set. Flip and cook 1–2 minutes more, until golden brown.
